FAQ
Q: Can an Endless Rain system be installed on an existing home?
A: Absolutely, in fact most of our systems are installed on existing homes.
Q: Are your systems only for residential applications?
A: No not at all, our rainwater harvesting systems are modular and can be sized for commercial buildings such as factories, schools or garden centres etc
Q: Is the storage tank above ground or below?
A: Our standard Endless Rain system is below ground and it really isn’t a traditional “tank” at all. It’s based on a flexible EPDM rubber liner. The below ground option has many advantages including temperature regulation and the obvious fact that you don’t lose any valuable yard space to a massive cistern. We do also have above ground solutions if digging is not an option.
Q: How do I get the water out of the basin?
A: There are several options here. You can have Endless Rain install a booster pump which will connect to your garden hose. You can tie into an irrigation system. Or you can simply choose to have the water circulate through a decorative water feature such as a pondless waterfall
Q: What keeps the water from becoming stagnant?
A: We recommend combining your rainwater harvesting system with a recirculating water feature such as a bubbling rock or pondless waterfall to ensure your water remains fresh.
Q: What happens if it rains too much?
A: Endless Rain systems are installed with an overflow that allows any extra rainwater to penetrate back into the ground. If this is not an option we can also tie back into your existing storm drain.
Q: How big or small can my system be?
A: Kits start at 500 gallons and go up to 5000 gallons but due to the modular nature of our system, we can custom design to just about any size.
